Dr. Carolyn 'Sis' Engle and her daughter Dr. Alexis Pilato were recently featured in an AAOS article as they are the only mother-daughter orthopaedic duo in the United States. They are both orthopaedic surgeons working at Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver, PA.
