Congratulations to Dr. Steven Abramowitch who has recently been selected as a recipient of the 2019 BMES Diversity Award. The BMES Diversity Award honors an individual, project, organization or institution for outstanding contributions to improving gender and racial diversity in biomedical engineering. The award is given for a broad range of activities including research, education and service that improve diversity in biomedical industry and/or academia.
As the award recipient, Dr. Abramowitch will deliver a plenary lecture at the BMES 2019 Annual Meeting that will be held in Phildelphia in October, 2019.
