NIH R01 Grant Awarded to Dr. Abramowitch

Congratulations to Dr. Steven Abramowitch and his co-investigator Dr. Pamela Moalli on their recent NIH R01 Grant Award for their project titled “Overcoming Complications of Polypropylene Prolapse Meshes: Development of Novel Elastomeric Auxetic Devices”. The 5 year grant awards over $2.5 million towards their research. The University of Pittsburgh is 4th on the list of NIH Awards by Location and Organization with 1,127 awards in 2018 totaling over $536 million dollars.
