Dr. Matt Fisher’s first PhD student passed her dissertation defense on April 30, 2019. Dr. Stephanie Cone’s project was titled “Dependent Changes in the Structure and Function of the Porcine Anterior Cruciate Ligament During Skeletal Growth”. She performed her research at the Translational Orthopaedic Research Lab within the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her advisor, Dr. Fisher was one of Dr. Woo’s PhD students.
Congratulations to Dr. Jeff Weiss who was recognized as one of the Top Graduate Teachers in the Fall 2022 semester. Jeff is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah.
