9th WACBE World Congress on Bioengineering

The 9^th WACBE World Congress on Bioengineering was held at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan on August 16-19, 2019. The congress was attended by over 400 academic researchers, industry practitioners, medical doctors, business leaders and students to share their experience on bioengineering and to showcase the contributions to healthcare that affect the quality of life for patients. The Savio L-Y. Woo Distinguished Lecture was presented by Dr. Abraham Lee, Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine.  A few alumni who participated in the event were Drs. Chih-Hwa Chen, Zong-Ming Li and Woo.
