Professor Asbjørn Årøen, a former Post-Doctoral fellow at the Musculoskeletal Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh is currently the head of the Orthopaedic Research Group of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Akershus University Hospital at the University of Oslo.
