Many alumni enjoyed the beautiful Vail, Colorado landscape at the recent Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering and Biotransport Conference (SB3C) held from June 4-8, 2023. The Program Highlights included:
- 6 ASME Medal talks
- 48 podium sessions organized by ASME technical committees
- 2 special sessions honoring Dr. Savio Woo
- 306 posters
- 11 workshops
In addition, alumni received the following awards presented at the banquet.
- Dr. Zong-Ming Li received the ASME Fellow Membership
- Dr. Kenneth Fischer received the ASME Fellow Membership
- Dr. Jennifer Wayne received the Dedicated Service Award
- As a special honor, Ms. Karen Ohland, ASME President and OBL/MSRC alumni, presented Dr. Woo with the ASME Honorary Member Medal
