We are so excited to share some wonderful news about one of our own. Gregory J. Carlin was recently honored as the 2026 Distinguished Alumnus in Bioengineering by the University of Pittsburgh.

A first-generation college student, Greg earned his Master’s degree while conducting research at the Musculoskeletal Research Center (MSRC). It was here that he first saw how intellectual property could bridge the gap between the lab and patient care. Today, Greg is a founding principal at Meunier Carlin & Curfman, LLC in Atlanta, where he’s carved out a fantastic career at the intersection of engineering and law. Even with his busy practice, he remains a dedicated mentor and a vital part of our community, including his service as a board member for ASIAM.

Congratulations, Greg, on this well-deserved recognition! We are incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished.
